Questions & Answers

1. What must I do to apply? It's easy! Visit any of our offices (See "Office Locations & Hours") between 9 AM and 4 PM Monday through Friday. Bring your picture identification (license or State photo card) and original Social Security card, passport or birth certificate.

2. Will you have a job for me when I apply? Upon completion of the application, prospective employees become eligible for work assignments. The most successful applicants possess a variety of skills, have reliable transportation, and are able to work a variety of hours and shifts.

3. Do you work for me? No. We match the client's job order with available candidates whose skills, experience and current availability match. All fees to Infinity Resources, Inc. are paid by the employer client.

4. Do you only have temporary jobs? No. Most of our job orders are for Temporary-to-Hire placement. Once the candidate completes probation, they are usually moved to regular status on the employer's payroll.

5. Do you ever directly place candidates? Yes! If the employer's job order requires short probation or no probation; has specific budget constraints; union contract restrictions; or difficult to locate skills, we arrange to place candidates directly on the employer's payroll.

6. When is payday? Every Thursday after 10 a.m.. Checks are available in the Infinity Resources office that placed you. Exceptions include when the employer distributes the check with their own payroll or you request mail, direct deposit or pick up at the closest Infinity Resources office to you.

7. What is the benefit of a temporary or temporary-to-hire placement? It seems to be the best of both worlds. Employees like it because if they do not like the assignment, they can make arrangements to move to another assignment. Employer clients like it because if they need different skills or need to adjust shifts, they can request someone else.

8. Is Infinity Resources a drug-free workplace? Absolutely. Our policy clearly requires that each prospective employee is free of drugs and alcohol at all times when representing IRI. The full policy is available when prospective employees visit our offices.

9. How many days of work may I miss? Infinity Resources discourages absence for any reason. IRI does not accept "No Call/No Show" practices. Absences and tardiness during probation may reflect poorly on your abilities and may cause our employer client to not consider placing the prospective employee on regular status with them. IRI policies are available when you visit our office to apply.

10. Do you pay me for holidays? Holidays are not usually paid during probation. If a candidate remains on Infinity Resources' payroll after probation, holidays are paid when the employer requests. After 1500 hours worked (about 9 months), Infinity Resources pays for holidays.

11. What if I work on a holiday? Worked holidays are paid. Usually they are paid at time-and-a-half.

12. Will I qualify for vacation? Yes! If you are still on Infinity Resources' payroll after 1500 hours worked (about 9 months), employees will receive one week's average pay. Depending on the employer's workload, time off may or may not be granted. Other available benefit information is available in our offices.
